Selecting
the Judge/Trustee Assignment hyperlink, the ECF system will automatically
run a report to select the judge, trustee and 341 meeting. This
information populates the 341 (a) meeting of creditors notice.
If an error occurs with the assignment report, contact the
Systems Help Desk at 619-557-7415, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Select
Bankruptcy menu.
- Select
Judge/Trustee Assignment.
- Note the assignment for each case.
- Continue
to file one of the following applications (for
individual cases only), if applicable.
- Continue
with File
Required Documents and follow the documents procedure.

Note
Before
assignment it is a MUST that creditors be loaded to the
case. To add creditors see Uploading
Creditors procedure.
For
chapter 7 cases, it is suggested that all cases be opened,
creditors uploaded and then run the assignment. The possibility
of the same 341 meeting and trustee are greater.
For
chapter 13 case trustees are assigned by case number;
odd (Billingslea) or even (Skelton).
For chapter 11 cases, they do not receive 341 meetings
nor trustee through the assignment. The U.S. Trustee's
Office assigns this information to the court at a later
time. |
