Use the Bankruptcy Filing Requirements as a guide for documents to open bankruptcy cases and/or file supportive documents for the new filing. There are two option for opening a case, 1)Open Voluntary BK Case, or 2) Case Upload (either through Court's ECF System or through your Bankruptcy Petition software).

 

Case opening required documents are due at time of filing the voluntary petition, ESPECIALLY for Case Upload. There are times when the required documents are not available, which would then become deficient to the case. These documents are then due within 24 hours or 14 days of filing the petition.

Quick Note

 

For Case Upload ALL Required Documents in the Must have and Should have sections MUST be available at the time of filing the petition.

 

If the filing is incomplete, use the Open Voluntary BK Case menu.
