Adobe
Acrobat uses the print function to create a PDF file. Create your
document in your word processor. To ensure easy identification
of your PDF file, the court suggests that you name the PDF file
according to the available Document Event Directories.
The below will instruct you how to Print to PDF using Word.
- Open
the original document (WordPerfect, Word, Petition
Software, WebPages, etc.)
- Print to
PDF
- Click on "File" on the application's
menu bar.
- Click on "Print" from the
drop down menu. The "Print Dialog Box" appears.
- Select "Acrobat PDF Writer"
as current printer selection and press the Print button.
The "Save PDF File As" screen appears.
- Name your PDF file.
- Choose the appropriate directory by
clicking in your Save in: window
- Click on the save button to print and
save to PDF.

Quick Note
Embed
fonts to ensure all fonts print to pdf.
Ensure
that your signature line has /s/name. If no electronic
signature the document may be deficient.
If using Petition
Software to Print to PDF and have questions, contact your
vendor.
It is recommended
to print a paper copy of your document for original signatures
to be kept
in your office.
For WebPages,
such as the Notice of Electronic Filing (your receipt
of filing), print a paper copy if not printing to PDF.
