Retrieve Reports

1. Log into CM/ECF with your PACER username and password.
2. Select Reports. 
3. Select E-Reports.
4. Select  one of the following reports to review instructions. 
   • Audit Trail

     The Audit Trail report creates a status report to show where all reports are in the review process. 

     1. Enter case number to limit search or leave blank to review all cases.  
     2. Select trustee. 
     3. Select "All" or "Approved" to review the contents for that folder.
     4. Enter the date range for the report and Run Report. The report appears.
     5. Audit Report
        • Case number - hyperlinks to case docket.
        • Date Entered - displays date of submitted FDW via e-reports. 
        • FDW - displays document number as a hyperlink. The hyperlink links to the FDW's ECF fields for the worksheet for review only. 
          • Note: Document number is not a docket entry number, but a generated e-report number to access the FDW fields.
        • Description - displays the event and message.

      

   • Due Date Report 

     The Due Date report is used to track the amount of reviewing and process time for the reports submitted by the trustee. Reports can be reviewed by case number, report type, amounts, date submitted and if the Fee Distribution Report has been received. The authorized ECF login and password will display the related cases for that login. 

     1. Enter case number to limit search or leave blank to review all cases. 
     2. Enter due dates for report.
     3. Select trustee name.
     4. Select chapter.
     5. Select Report Type: Final Report, Amended Final Report, Final Account, Amended Final Account, or Special NDR.
     6. Select sort option for the report: Oldest date first, or Most recent date first. The report displays.

     Depending on the Report Type selected those reports will display. The report shows the following:

     • Case Number/Document # - hyperlinks to the case docket and document number. 
     • Report - hyperlinks to specific document for review. 
     • Amount - displays amount for Unclaimed Funds
     • Submission Date - displays the date the report was submitted. 
     • FDW - notes if a Fee Distribution Worksheet has balanced, y = yes, n = no. 
       • Note: If FDW is out of balance, the user will receive an error message and will not be allowed to route to the UST Attorney routing folder. 
     • Due Date - displays a calculated date the report's submission date plus 45 days. 

      

   • Report Activity

     The Report Activity is used as the United States Trustee's review process and routing system for the reports submitted by the Trustee. 

     1. Enter case number to limit search or leave blank to review all cases. 
     2. Enter the submission dates for the eReports.
     3. Select chapter.
     4. Select Report Type: Final Report, Amended Final Report, Final Account, Amended Final Account, or Special NDR.
     5. Select the routing folder to review. Inbox, Trash or Approve. Note: Approved folder is only for the UST Attorney logins. 
     6. Select sort option for the report: Case Number or Trustee Name. Note: The View Trash Folder hyperlink displays all folders that items have been trashed. These items can be restored, by checking the Restore to Inbox box. 

     7. The reports appears and displays the following:

        • Case Number/Document # - hyperlinks to the case docket and document number. 
        • Report - hyperlinks to specific document for review. 
        • Amount - displays amount for unclaimed funds.
        • Submitter - displays who submitted the report. 
        • Date - displays submitted date of documents. 
        • FDW - displays 'y" or "n" to indicate if FDW is balanced or not.  
        • Due Date - displays the date the report is due.
        • Actions - the user can select where to forward the report, such as the Reassigned to, Approve, Approve with Objection, Return to Staff, Return to Trustee, and Trash, and receives email notification.
        • Edit - hyperlink to the following buttons: 

     • Edit Check Amount - displays a Check Amount field to enter an amount from the Unclaimed Funds check.  

     • Fee Distribution Worksheet -  displays a browser field to attach an ASCII file. The ASCII file will populate the FDW fields and indicate if balanced. If a FDW is out of balance, Reviewer can upload a new ASCII file to balance.  

     • Modify the report information - displays a drop down box to select the report that will be modified - Final Report, Amended Final Report, Final Account, Amended Final Account, and Special NDR.  In other words, if title of submitted report was selected incorrectly, this function will allow modification of the report selection, which will place the report in the appropriate folder.

     • Replace the pdf document - displays a browser field which allows the user to replace the erred report (PDF file) with a new report (PDF file.)
