PDF Naming Convention

Adobe Acrobat & PDF Files

The court suggest that you use a naming convention which identifies the document. We use the case number and/or the client's name and an abbreviation of the document being filed.

Example:

1234mtnRS = 01-1234 Motion for RS
DoeMtnRS = Client’s name Motion for RS.

Quick Note

The naming convention helps when locating the PDF file. The PDF file is attached during the filing in the Browser field.
