This form is in compliance with Part VIII of the Bankruptcy Rules for appellate documents and the broadened requirements for a certificate of compliance under Rule 8015(h), which requires certification of compliance with the type-volume or word limits for briefs filed under Rule 8015(a)(7)(b), 8016(d)(2), or 8017(b)(4), and documents filed under Rule 8013(f)(3)(A), 8013(f)(3)(C), or 8022(b)(1).

  1. Select Bankruptcy or Adversary menu.
  2. Select Appeal menu.
  3. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
  4. Select party filer.
    • Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party .
  5. Select Document Event:  Certificate of Compliance (CSD 417C).
  6. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file).

    • Attach supportive documents, if applicable.

  7. Check box at Refer to existing event(s).

  8. Select the appropriate category to search for the related document.

  9. Select the appropriate document (docket text).

  10. Modify text to add pertinent information, such as Amended, if applicable.

  11. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.

  12. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
