Before filing the Withdrawal of Claim, review
the claims
register to identify the court assigned
claim number for the claim being withdrawn. This information
is needed when filing the document.
- Select
Bankruptcy menu.
- Select
Claims & Miscellaneous Filings.
- Ensure
correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
- Select
party filer.
- Party filer not listed, Add/Create
New Party.
- When adding a new party to the
case, in the Party Information screen, change the
Role
(which defaults to Debtor) to the appropriate role,
such as Creditor.
- Select
Document Event: Withdrawal of Proof of
Claim (Notice)(BNC).
- Browse,
verify and attach the document (PDF file).
- Submit.
- Select
Creditor(s) and Claim #(s) being withdrawn from list.
- Select
Claim Status: Withdrawal
of Claim.
- Verify Claim Number and Claimant
- Modify text to
add pertinent information, such as Amended,
if applicable.
- Verify
final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
- Print
the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
