The Answer to Complaint can be used to file Additional answers after the initial answer was filed or to Amend an Answer to Complaint.
  1. Select Bankruptcy or Adversary menu.
  2. Select Response/Declaration.
  3. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
  4. Select party filer.
    • Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party.
  5. Select Document Event: Answer to Complaint.
  6. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF files).
    • Attach supportive documents, if applicable.
  7. Check box at Refer to existing event(s).
  8. Select appropriate Complaint docket text.
  9. Modify text to add pertinent information, such as Amended, if applicable.
  10. Verify final docket text before submitting on case docket.
  11. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.

 

Quick Note

Use the Answer to Complaint to file ADDITIONAL answers to the complaint after the initial answer was filed or an AMENDED answer to the complaint.
