When filing this Notice of Intent to Request Redaction, refer (link) this Notice to the appropriate Transcript.
  1. Select Bankruptcy or Adversary menu.
  2. Select Notices & Hearings.
  3. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
  4. Select party filer.
    • Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party.
  5. Select Document Event: Redaction Request re: Transcript (Notice of Intent).
  6. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file).
    • Attach supportive documents, if applicable.
  7. Check box at Refer to existing event(s). 
  8. Select appropriate transcript docket text.
  9. Modify text to add intended action and Amended, if applicable.
  10. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
  11. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
  12. File the Notice of Redaction with List of Location Identifiers within twenty-one (21) days.

Quick Note

The Judicial Conference's privacy policy contains procedures for redacting personal information from court filings that are electronically made available to the public.

Once a transcript is filed with the court, a Notice of Filing of Transcript is served on the attorney and interested parties.  The attorney has seven (7) days to file the Notice of Intent to Request Redaction of Transcript and twenty-one (21) days to file the Notice of Redaction with List of Location Identifiers.
