Batch Filing allows you to enter more than one case number.  When modifying text via Batch Filing, it will modify ALL case docket entries.  If modified docket text is for one entry, file that document as a separate docket entry.

This document event allows you to select a delay time frame for closing a case.  After selecting a delay time frame of 30, 60 or 90 days, verify the Miscellaneous Tickler Due Date corresponds with the delay time frame selected.

  1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
  2. Select Batch Filings menu.
  3. Ensure correct case name(s) and number(s) match the document you are filing.
  4. Select Document Event: UST Request to Delay Administrative Closing of Case (paperless entry).
  5. Submit.
  6. Select the appropriate delay time frame:
    • thirty day
    • sixty day
    • ninety day
  7. Verify Bankruptcy Misc. Tickler Due Date  (30, 60 or 90 days from file date).
  8. Enter up to and including requested delay date of (ie January 15, 2008).
  9. Modify text to add pertinent information,  if applicable.
  10. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
  11. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.

Quick Note

This event does not require a PDF file for the docket entry. It is considered a paperless entry. 

If modification applies to an individual case, file the UST Request to Delay Administrative Closing of Case under the Trustee/US Trustee category.
