Category:  Appeal

 

 

  1. Select Bankruptcy or Adversary menu.
  2. Select Appeal.
  3. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
  4. Select party filer.
    • Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party.
  5. Select Document Event: Cross Appeal (fee).
  6. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file).
    • Attach supportive documents, if applicable.
  7. Check box at Refer to existing event(s).
  8. Select order category to search for the related document.
    • Designation of Record and Statement of Issues Due Dates appear.
  9. Select  appropriate order being appealed.
    • Appellee Designation and Court Follow-up Due Dates appear.
    • Verify filing fee.
  10. Select  type of Appeal:
    • Cross Appeal
    • Notice of Direct Appeal to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals
  11. Modify text to add pertinent information, such as Amended, if applicable.
  12. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
  13. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
